2018 Events

We are delighted to announce the events that Players will be holding throughout 2018

7 April 2018, 11:00 – 15:30, Bede House

This Family Fun day is a joint event between Irchester Players and St Mary’s Church in Higham Ferrers.

The event will be free to enter and will include:

  • Kids Disco
  • Games
  • Face Painting
  • Stalls
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Character meets and greets at 12:00 and 14:00.

7th April, 19:00 – Late, Bede House

Abba Mania is a joint event between Irchester Players and St Mary’s Church, Higham Ferrers.

The event will be hosted by Players’ Fanny the Fairy and will present Irchester Players Abba Tribute group, which performed in Irchester in 2017.

There will also be a disco, bar and fancy dress competition.

Tickets are £8 each. Group tickets can be purchased for £25.00 and will admit four. Visit our box office section to get your tickets today.


21 April 2018, 19:30 – 20:00, IWMC

The group will hold its annual general meeting on 21st April. The members of the group, friends of Irchester players and members of the public are welcome at the event.

The event will review the year that has passed and look to the future, announcing new shows and events for the coming year, as well as setting out our future direction.

Entrance is free.

 


21 April 2018, 20:00 – Late, IWMC

This disco event will celebrate the end of a successful 40th year for Irchester Players.

Members and the friends of Irchester Players are welcome to attend.

Tickets are available through members of Irchester Players and will cost £8.00.

 

 

 



28th July 2018, 19:00 – Late, Parsons Hall

This live stand up comedy event will see members reprise their roles from Enchanted Forest in an adult only show.

Fanny the Fairy will host the event, which will be followed by a live disco and host a bar.

Tickets will cost £10.00 and can be booked from our box office site.

 

 



3rd November 2018, 12:00 and 19:00 – Irchester Bowls Club

A special event to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. This event is being organised by Irchester Players with Irchester Parish Historical Society and Irchester Bowl Clubs.

The entertainment will include war-time songs, comedy sketches and poems. There is also be a two course meal. Tickets cost 12:00.

A proportion of the proceeds from the event will be donated towards the costs of installing a First World War bench in Irchester.

 


 November 2018, 19:00 – Late, Parsons Hall

This interactive murder mystery event will see the members of Irchester Players perform in a comedic “who did it?” story line. The audience will compete with each other to guess who the murderer is.

  • £100 cash prize for winning
  • Prize for best 1920s costume
  • Followed by live disco

Tickets will cost £10.00 and can be booked from our box office site.
